Who are some of the famous earwigs of the village?

Among our number are such notables as, in no particular order:

• Eustace Earwig
• RSM Willie Earwig
• Isambard Kingdom Earwig, usually seen frock-coated; noted for such inventions as the Ironclad Duck.
• Sergeant Felix Earwig CATO (Chief Ammunition Technical Officer), who has a tendency to blow things up.
• Modesty Earwig, who gets things done quietly and without fuss (making her an extreme rarity among earwigs).
• Maurits Earwig, who draws strange pictures and is something of a mathematician.
• Niccolo Earwig, who schemes.
• Nikola Fulbemászó, Isambard's great rival.
• Sergei P. Ukhovyortka, who ignites things that go whoosh but (usually) not BANG. The absence of BANG makes other earwigs look at him in a funny way.
• Heath Earwigginson
• Hans Earwig
• Buffalo Killer Earwig, a scout.
• Prince Peter Ukhovyortka, an anarchist.
